New Year's Eve Vigil and Labyrinth Walk

Dec 31 Come pray in the New Year with the help of a special angel. The vigil begins at 8 pm. Then take your first steps into 2009 on the Labyrinth path. Bring a snack to share. Hot cider will be available. Crash space is available for those who wish to stay the night. Bring WARM clothing for the Labyrinth, and a flashlight. RSVP if you plan to come.

Transformation Workshops

Jan 23-24, Mar 13-14, Jun 26-27 Are you struggling with some life issue for which you need insight and direction? That is precisely the purpose of the Transformation Workshop. The process is facilitated by the use of a board game for two to four people. It is non-competitive, but very interactive. As you travel along your life path, you will receive insight and feedback on your chosen issue and be supported by the care and concern 6fyour fellow players. Be prepared for fun, fellowship, laughter and possibly a few tears a-s old negative patterns are brought to light and begin to melt. Dinner on Friday to 9pm Saturday.

Sacred Congregational Dance Workshops

Ju118, Oct 3 Learn simple folk dance patterns to familiar hymns and chants and experience praying with your body as well as mind and heart. And discover how dance connects and unifies people. Diamuid O'Murchu writes in his book, Quantum Theology, "Dance is the first, most ancient, and most enduring for m of religion." Saturdays lOam-4pm followed by a Vigil Eucharist or Evening Prayer. Cost $35

Labyrinth Walk

May 9, Oct 17 Discover the beauty and challenge of the organic Margin Labyrinth and many ways to use it! Saturdays 11am-4pm. Cost$ 25

Meditation Practices

Feb 27-28, Sept 18-19, Nov 20-21 Learn about and experiment with several meditation practices: Lectio Divina, Ignatian, meditation, Centering Prayer, Breath Prayer. Find the "shoe that fits"! Dinner on Friday to 9pm Saturday. Cost $75

Drum Circles

Dec 21/08, Mar 21/09, Jun 21, Sep 20, Dec 20 Come help us celebrate the Solstices and Equinoxes round the fire circle (weather permitting, otherwise indoors.) We will make music-- or at least a cheerful noise -- and finish with a candle dance. Bring your own instrument/drum if you have one. We have plenty to share, however. 7:30-9pm

Preparation for Lent

Feb 22 Take time out to look at your life from the "margin." What needs to be weeded out? What needs to be planted? Walk the Labyrinth .. Write your Lenten Rule. The Sisters will be available for consulta­tion. l-4pm

Day of Penitence, Personal and Corporate

Mar 28 A day of silence, fasting, prayer, and self-examination with opportunity for sacramental confession. We will pray the Stations of the Cross in the Labyrinth. Please have a very light breakfast. No lunch will be served, but hot water and coffee will be available. There will be a Vigil-Eucharist at 4pm followed by supper to conclude the day. 10am to 8pm Saturday Cost $25

Spring Cleanup

April 25 Volunteers needed to help clean up the Labyrinth, spread wood chips, haul firewood, clear brush, weed out garlic mustard and general yard clean-up. 10am-5pm Saturday. Lunch included. Please call ahead.
